When will look at the scriptures you see that God god loves us a lot . Gods love is not tied to feelings . When we say agape we mean unconditional love for everyone. I'm talking about an Unconditional Love where a person decides to love someone not because of benefits that he may get from the person but because God has said so.
We see this in john 15:12, here Jesus leaves us with only one commandment, which is "love one another as I have loved you".
So at the core of it all, we now find out that Love is the root of everything that has to do with God. When you look at the Bible from Genesis to revelation can you come to a point and understand that the whole Bible is Gods love for us .
From the beginning to the end it shows us how much God loves us. Everything that is written in the Bible the core messages is Gods unconditional love for us.
How comes it's all love?
From the creation of man in Genesis to God making a covenant with Abraham. taking out the people of Israel from Egypt and God splitting the Red Sea so that people could cross. To God feeding the hundreds in the desert in the times of Moses.
So we come to a point and realise that there's no thing that denotes love than himself giving his beloved son to us so that he can die for our sins. That's the love that he talks about in John 15 :13.
" Greater love has no man than this that him his life for his friends". You can see here that Jesus calls us his friends , simply because he was filled with love to the point that he saw us as his friends. He didnt take the fact that they crucified him, tortured him, laughed at him and sometimes even talked bad about him but he was moved by Compassion and love.
When we move by love as Christians we are unstoppable. Jesus himself showed this that if you move by love no one else can stop you. They can stop you from doing anything but they can never stop you from loving.
Love your neighbour as you love yourself because he also says that "how can you say that you love God when you hate your neighbour " we live in a world where there's a lot of Chaos and is filled with acts of brutality and all these are driven by hate, revenge and selfishness.
If you think it's so hard to begin loving other people , then look no further because the people who are in need of your love are just one Step Closer to you. There are people who need to be loved unconditional they are in need for love .
You can change that today .Begin by helping a person today ,begin by praying for someone today , begin by being there for other people. Show love because Christianity without love is like a car with out an engine. Always remember love is the greatest of all.

Take time and see where you failed to show love in your life . Remember and try to see what solution would you have taken as a Christian. Ask God to move you with his love throughout different situations and circumstances in life.
And that's how the gospel changes us because it's good news it must change you from within.
